Vaccination

We offer and routinely perform vaccination of cats, dogs and rabbits. Vaccination is an important part of pet healthcare and has had - and continues to have - a huge impact on the incidence of potentially fatal animal diseases.

The recommended vaccination regimes are as shown below:

Distemper, Hepatitis and Canine Parvovirus: Primary vaccination from 8 weeks of age with two doses given 2-3 weeks apart; booster vaccination given 12 months later and thereafter every 3 years.

Leptospirosis and Parainfluenza: Primary vaccination from 8 weeks of age as above and thereafter annual boosters.

Kennel cough: Vaccination is required by many boarding kennels and some training classes.
